    what kind of bolts go here? I’ve never seen a bracket like this.

    Nylon inserts that snap in. Than the screw or a 1/4 in. bolt threads in.
    The Help section at auto parts houses have them for license plate fasteners. Strange that they weren’t included on that bracket already.
