Personally I’d probably rather have the reliability and know how of a mech engine anyway, just looking at gliders as well

Hoovers has some but I believe all of there build slots for 2020 were taken. Going straight to the KW website, they said they have gliders.

Buy a new Freightliner glider for about $155k or so, or get out your checkbook and buy one of the few remaining KW’s or Peterbilt’s.

Since 2020 is the last year Paccar is building gliders and all the remaining build slots have been sold for quite some time people are asking stupid pricing for the 2020 paccar gliders they have.

Build a star car for half the already built paccars

Or buy a old truck and rebuild it from the ground up.
    It will be cheaper.

Had very good luck doing that with the kenworths. Parts are still available for the most part to rebuild.

When we pulled the 99 star car in for a complete frame up rebuild this spring, truck had ridiculous issues after 2.5 million on the chassis. Between sleeper delamenation and and interior parts completely broken most of everything from wiper linkages dash supports unavailable. It was easier to order a whole new star car at freightliner to bolt up the 99 engine to.

So freightliner should have the new 320inch wheel base star car in October. And Detroit will finish it because they wouldn't sell the glider to us so we could do it.
