File LLC in which state?

    I can find info on this anywhere. I've purcashing my truck in 2 weeks. Moving in 3 months to TN. I currently live in California. I've found that I can not transfer my LLC out of California. Can I form my LLC in TN? Will it be an issue with registering and tilting the truck?

    If it's not a problem. Do I physically have to be in TN to register it? Or can I do it over phone or email with a 3rd party service

    So...If i start my LLC in FL, does that mean i will not be able to transfer it to say GA or OK. I take it, you have to create another LLC. What effect will that have on your years in business or safety record...insurance, credit rating?

    If you form an new LLC it is no longer the "same legal person/entity" and you will need to get a newe USDOT number etc...

    I live in Colorado now but my LLC as well as my 2 trucks are registered in Georgia under my LLC...but I own property in GA also
