that's right.it all depends on if they are in a good mood and they are on top of their quota.my son received a ticket in Idaho for being 80# over on an axle and at that same scale I was 460# over on an axle and they let me go...go figure.its best to have ur ducks in order then that takes all the guess work out of it...just say'in

Yeah..........But what are the Fines costing?
I would imagine a truck getting a ticket for 400# over on an axle is just CRAZY and Not right...
Here in illinois...The State Police and DOT Are pretty Fair all around.....But dont be without a PERMIT for an oversize..They'll really bite you hard
Same in Wisconsin and Indiana..........If your UNDER gross, And have an axle that just cant get legal, They will work with you -
oregon whacked me $300 on bridge weight. axles were legal, but bridge was 2500 over. if i would have been in wash, id, mont, or utah. i would have been just fine.
oregon allows the axle weights. but bridge is lower.Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
This must vary greatly from state to state. MD allows 1000 lb on bridge, axle, or any RGW below 80k as long as you're not on an Interstate highway.

So 11980 on steers, 34160 on drives, 32140 on tlr,,,78280 gross, I should be ok with this in Utah.
