So minor update and possible small set back.

Called to pay ticket. "Oh that's an appearance ticket. You have to show you got it registered."

Me: but I'm not going to be registering it in FL. I'm moving to TX.

Clerk: still have to do an appearance but can show the TX registration or explain it to them.

So now I have a date of 10/6 at 9am est for a zoom meeting. Have to email FFE recruiters to see how to handle it.

Small update. Emailed recruiters. Got assigned Kathey Harvey for a recruiter.

Let her know that I don't have a TX license and about the ticket. Also asked when the next class starts.

 

Another small update:

Must have TX license before class. So I am getting things ready to get my escapes address. It will be on rainbow Dr in livingston, TX.
Have the 2 forms I need to register my SUV w/o an inspection.
Geico insurance quote for $95 for the insurance.
With my bank and car insurance showing that address I can get my DL changed w/o any issues.

 

Well I won't be physically there. Just using the mail service.

 

There is a form where you State the vehicle is not in TX and self certify. It's a vtr-270 (might be off on the letters). I can be exact on Tuesday
