Today, I finished putting on one side wheel hub. Got all finished, and found a rubber cup laying on the ground. Must have flew off the axle shaft, I missed it. So through my YouTube searches, figured out I probably have a bad cv axle, since it clicks on turns. So after pounding the other hub out with the sledge. I bought new axles for both sides. Since I’ve got to re do the other side anyways, to put the missing cup in. Helps absorb the pain of my fudgeup. One problem revealed another, better than doing the Job, and having to tear both sides down to do axles. Had I started to change axles, would have to do hubs anyway. All in all, not too bad. Drivers tire has a broken belt. Explains a lot. Hopefully this will fix the minor vibration I’ve had since hitting a chunk of concrete on the Interstate a few yrs ago. Blew 2 tires, and bent a rim. Slight shimmy ever since, kept getting worse. Broken belt, really made it bad. I don’t know why, maybe from sitting so much. Dry rot, I can understand. But broken steel belts have been a thing on my last 3 cars. They all had sat a lot.

Congratulations! Great feeling having your own home. No landlord.
Way you described your other home.
I’m sure your wife is as happy as a cold pig in warm mud. :)

This is what they did. Tell you that when it went off, the boom from it could be felt and heard for a few miles.

Southeast Idaho... In the sticks. I jave 2 neighbors within a few hundred yards. The next closest is a mile or better away.

No curtain hanging for a while at least... Home came with curtains and blinds.
