    I drive, I press the accelerator pedal, the yellow check engine appears. released gas pedal, yellow check engine disappears. What could be the problem?

    Sounds like your TPS is starting to go bad. Is your throttle response ok? Does the CEL come on and stay on or is it flashing while holding the throttle pedal down?

    Problem solved. I followed the advice of a friend and replaced six sensors. All wrong. Detroit service found the turbo sensor bad.
