Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

From a historical standpoint, when there is a market event like this that causes a spike, it lasts 6-9 months and then starts to trend down, eventually hitting a low point before spiking back up. The freight game is a dirty cycle of highs and lows, just got to take advantage of the highs and survive the lows.

 

There’s definitely something strange in the air. I just had a broker that I did one load for three years ago call looking for trucks around Boston

Same here in NorCal. I still have my reading light on next to my recliner because it's so dark outside. Picking up a load for Portland tomorrow morning with a return load Thursday. And to think the fire season really hasn't even started yet.

 

Not sure where you're getting all of the smoke in Oregon. The only fire I see up there currently on the map just started on the north side of Klamath Falls on 97. That could get messy if it stays hot there.
