That's the strange thing about affiliations......

Wife is a board member of the local food bank. One of the things the feds sent to pass out was thousands of washable cloth masks... way more than than the local population can use. Board President told all the volunteers to take 2 for each of their running cars and told the wife to grab a couple of extra for the big truck. She wanted to make sure I'm alive to help with remodels/repairs......

 

I have no intention of ever going to Maine again. However, thank you ever so much for the tip.

 

Did notice something down in Portland area last week. Some guy selling cloth masks out of a minivan (like some do sports logo type stuff).

Micro/cash economy marketers have picked up on it.

Comments: A wildfire is in the area. Use caution. ODOT is piloting cars through the wildfire area, expect delays. The county has also closed Modoc Point Rd.

In this case I would re word that "stupid" part to "courteous".

I do a quick health verify with customers before removing my mask. I do not know of the health concerns of random folks I encounter and would prefer them keep their diseases to themselves. Therefore I put on a mask hoping to encourage them to do the same.

Stating my perception and not wanting to engage an argument.
