So how hard was the wind blowing for two different legs of the journey?

For about 60 or 70 miles this morning, I had the thingy mashed to the floor, and top speed was about 45 to 50.

Blowing like that around Tucson too. Right in the face.

Took almost 1 mpg off my trip.

Worth it though if it keeps the smoke in the communist state.

Freind of mine called this morning...said I-80 across the salt flats (UT/NV border type) looked like I-80 in Iowa after a snow storm. Wind was sobad, they closed it for 7 hours...rigs blown over in the rest areas and stuckin the sludge along the road surface.

I'll take that over the taint sweat heat of the south. Born and raised in Texas, I absorbed enough heat so that 50 and lower is perfect weather.
