Too funny. Oregon governor has declared the wild fires have contributed to global warming. Wow, we need a governor to tell us this? You mean we wouldnt know this on our own?

    lol

    Good night all

Actually, the smoke causes cooling by blocking out sunlight. Here on the left coast for the last 3 days where I live, our daily temps were supposed to be around 80. They've barely reached 70, and right now at 7 pm it's only 60 outside. Large amounts of particles from fires and especially a huge volcano have a dramatic cooling effect on the planet. Volcanic eruptions can be traced as the cause of cooling trends and famine that can last a century or more. We haven't seen the the sun where I live in 4 days because of smoke and this is usually our hottest time of year.

That's right up there with PG&E (Cali utility co) filling for bankruptcy being the result of climate change.

They filled for bankruptcy after getting sued because they poorly managed their power lines (wich the p.u.c. let them get away with), and caused major fires and loss of life. They were supposed to put all the power lines underground starting 50 years ago. Was just not a priority for management and the state p.u.c. continued to let them get away with it.

    Zamora for the night....

Came down I5. The Petro in Phoenix, OR had burn marks up to the pavement. Across the highway looked like several mobile home parked burned to the ground.

Ground was chard on both sides for miles (down to the scales).

I managed to pick up in far east TX. One stop in NE. Then home. All in two days. All legal on the ELD too.
I did get a rock in my windshield. A bad one. Little bits of glass all over me and the truck inside.
