Since it's your truck get yourself a Nexiq usb link and a copy of Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link or Cummins Insite plus the back door password app and play with the settings yourself

Or just go to the dealership and get the pcm flashed back to stock , no idle timer ,no speed governor , or economy tune from what ever fleet owned it before you

If your truck has this then it has Park Smart the electric battery system

If you have this in sleeper then it's Optimize Idle

If you don't have any of those them you probably have idle engine. Your set the parking brakes, turn on the cruise control. Then raise the engine RPM by pushing the + set button on the cruise control and that will raise the engine to probably 900 RPMs then you can idle all night. Unless they have the computers set up to monitor outside temperature. They might have it set up to only idle if outside temperature is above 80F or lower then 40F. That setup kinda sucks because the inside of truck gets hot when sleeping even at 75F outside. Because the transmission it like 200F when driving and it right under cab floor. Plus no air flow in truck stop when everyone is parked and they idle their engine.

The 2018 doesn't use the cruise control to idle up, you just hold the acceleration button until the tach reads about 850 rpm, this is a clean idle dd15 Evolution engine.

I'm not sure when the idle up procedure changed, the 2013 was as described, and a 2014 I believe was, too.

If it's your truck and you can't afford the few dollars to set the ECM to what you want then it's time to give it up.
