    Just goes to show that the local police county and town cops have no idea about the rules and regulations surrounding the trucking industry much less what an eld is or how it works or anything else.when they encounter or pull over a truck driver they should be required to call someone out who knows what the hell they're talking about.

    Cop doesn't have to be an #######, but the driver made their own bed. ELD doesn't cut the ignition. You can continue 5 miles to a safe location.

    I dont blame the officer at all...

    This driver needs to man up and quit trying to make his problem everyone elses... He could have stopped well before this ramp and parked long before his drive time was up.

    34 hour restart on a ramp? He deserves a ticket.
