The megas love regulations, and regulations keep government employees on the payroll. So, in serving the self interest of keeping themselves employed, the megas get a pass, while everything else gets the shaft.650cat425, Lostkeys, jamespmack and 7 others Thank this. -
Well, I’m back in the game finally, but there’s about 100 yards worth of trucks in front of me at the shipper lmao I never know whether to wait to get up there to check in, or walk up anyway when this happens; I think some places vary

@D.Tibbitt this looks like something of your creation, you know after rummaging through the garbage
My slow self thought it was a log truck at first glance

Running round gathering oil, filters, splitter button and a few other odds and ends. My friend is riding with me ask "why don't ya just by a new truck". I give him that are you stupid look. .......i use to buy new every three yrs. .....no more. I can completely rebuild mine front to back for a hell of alot less than what a new one cost......and built better ! ."but you could spend more time with the wife if you had a new one" he says. If your don't have time for family yer not running the business correctly ! Plus I don't trust today's wrench holders.

I forgot the exact amount but is 46 - 48 cents a mile decent pay for someone who has a year of experience? There’s a company based out of Louisiana that quoted me that, (well, 6 months of experience is what they based that off of, but I’m going for the full year); they pay $75 for tarp pay (level up) and fully stocked Peterbilt 579’s; they only require 6 months OTR but I’m gonna gut it out with WE
