I usually luck out and get a hell of a deal. My Tikka T3 Lite 308 I paid 400 + shipping & FFL for. Previous owner put a muzzle brake on it and had the action tried.

That new prob would of ran 1200 or so

Whenever i get around to buying some dies for the RCBS i have enough to keep me busy for a long time. And that's not counting the trash bag of 5.56 full between my brother and I

Lots of DIY guys in here. Just figured I'd put this out - when you pull your radiator, don't put a rag over the lower coolant tube or say, perhaps stuff a blue microfiber towel in it to keep stuff from falling in. Put a hard plastic plug in it.

I'm still disassembling, back flushing, and fishing.

Left it in there and the water pump tore it up?

Milsurps are nothing but used. You just have to hunt for the good ones. ;)

Did better than any garbage disposer I've ever owned. The coolant filter did an outstanding job - I recovered the dark stuff all from the filter pleats. While it's possible it's been in there for 50k miles, I'm leaning towards the ~12k miles since I last had the radiator out...

Buddy of mine did that with those red shop rags in the exhaust ports. He missed one. Turbo did a great job of eating it up right before it bent every blade on the wheel !! I usually slip a rag over a tube and slip a hose clamp on it to hold it. Or zip tie it.
