I managed to replace both off them in about 8 hours. I think it would take me much less on regular truck. I have car hauler and the head rack actually shares 5 bolts with the same bolts that engine mounts bolts to the frame. The bolts are thicker so i had to open up the holes on the new mounts and then i had play with head rack to align all the bolts which took me more time. I had to remove that dog house and i also took of the exhaust pipe between turbo and DPF which made much easier.

I hate working on car haulers to tell you the truth they take anywhere from 4 to 6 hrs so you didn’t do so bad last time I had to do a clutch on one of those things took me a week can’t even get under it with a creeper.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
One more question. On 2014 VNL can you get the dog house out with out taking the bracket on top of the dog house?
-
Yes but still have to move the bracket 2 inches up in one side and it has to be loose.

Do you have exprience with motor mounts on a volvo with cummins isx 15. truck is 2011. Crazy shaking up and down most likely something in front end on under the truck. New tires, balanced, centrmaatics, took it go alignment came out he said truck is perfect str8, king pins good. What I’m assuming maybe out of round drums but truck does not shake when i brake so idk. possible motor mounts ? shaking up and down around 63 when bobtail like crazy, with trailer less but still there.
