Over the last 10 years have been more in automated over manually shifted transmissions. The transmissions and systems have greatly improved over that time as well.
All things being as is, I’ll take the automated. These newer 12 speeds are quite good. The biggest problem is how the system is programmed. Crappy programming will make driving the truck a nightmare.

The greatest manual ever was that old 359 mixer I drove for 3 years. Was my original avatar on here.

    The Beast.

    ZOMG

Everyone hated it when someone else would use they're truck, mine was the last one ever picked lol.

Once in awhile a driver, that was an old school driver, would take it that had a newer truck. They'd come up to me and go," How in the F do you drive that thing? It's a F BEAST."

    It was the beast lmfao.

I have a torn acl in my left knee too.

Oh man. That truck was something. It'd put a hurt on me at times for sure.

Changed both of them back in april, i believe. Changed the apu one at same time. They were so nasty , think the one for the bunk ac was the original filter

Love my DT12 it is setup like I wanted it has the power, economy and manual modes too. I did have to have the shift points changed when first got it because it wanted to get in high gear way too soon.

The DT12 is a good system. As an O/O, you get to select the programing. It really can make a difference.
