My truck front differential is spitting gear oil

Strange! Could you possibly have air going into the axle housing from the interaxle lock air piston?
Most use air to engage the lock but some are opposite.

 

Hmm. I'd like to see a picture of what you are talking about just so we are all on the same page. I have never heard of such of thing before.

 

I've had it happen 1 time on a new Truck.. Somehow a plastic thread protector cap was left in the hole that the breather threads into..when the gear oil got hot it pushed oil through the breather..

 

I will am not going to that the time to explain how it works right now But this in how to check it.
Remove the axle breather. Chalk the wheels and have the engine running brakes released. Everything like you are going down the road except in neutral. Is air being slowly pushed out the vent hole? No air no problem.
