I never said I disagreed with MOST of what you said. I don’t use social media. I also take what’s said by mainstream news sources and inform myself with other credible news sources. Then form my own opinion. That does not make me stupid. It makes me informed. Add that to personal friend(s) in health care who openly admit the numbers are skewed. When someone is days away from death and suddenly contracts the virus, any rational person can deduct that there’s a reason the cause of death is listed as covid for monetary reasons. I don’t disagree that there’s a pandemic. Or that it’s serious. But I do believe bigger powers are using it to their advantage.

Back to the issue at hand, crossing to the USA right now can go extremely smoothly, or in my case of a break down, can go very badly. USA customs is famous for making their own rules. So is CBSA. I cross at Sault Ste. Marie weekly and have never been told to wear a mask. Windsor? Guys are getting ragged out for not wearing them at primary booth. Go figure. A govt agency that can’t follow its own guidelines. Kinda like Ford going to weddings and his cottage. :D

I've actually preferred crossing into the US right now. Windsor has always been a pain in the ### even prior to Covid, find most of the Officers at Windsor have become bigger ##### since all this Covid started, Sarnia and Fort Erie haven't been bad though.

No idea why people cross Windsor-Detroit when Sarnia-Port Huron is way faster and only takes 5 minutes longer than if you crossed Detroit. Windsor guards are all on power trips, when they give me attitude I give it right back. Funny how you see their faces light up since mostly everybody kisses their ###.

Unless you’re loading or unloading in Windsor, I agree 100%

When I was crossing with any product requiring Agriculture Canada approval/inspection I would show up after 4:30pm and would get waived through as Agriculture Canada was not on duty after 4:30....planned my day...maybe things change
