Sounds like just about everyone had a rough day, one way or another. All I can say is it beats boredom. As much as I complain about things. I try to remember those who are bored and have nothing to do. Always trying to find something to do with their time. Sounds nice at first to be carefree. But in reality, it would be awful. Akin to being in a Nursing home, waiting for a visitor. Glad no one got hurt, or had to hurt anyone. Lol. Peace out. Hahaha!! No I’m not drinking!! Nor am I on drugs. And why does everyone keep asking me if I am? And what does “you’re definitely on the spectrum mean”? I guess it’s a compliment of some sort.

 

So, today I might've seen the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my 2 years out here on the road. And I've seen quite a bit of stuff. So tonight (and all day today) I drove down I-75 South. Raining hard all #### day and night, not light rain, but having the wipers on full blast pretty much the whole way. So it gets to night time and I happen to notice something really bright to the right of me as I'm passing a Prime driver in the high altitudes of the Tennessee Mountains, and what do I see?

The driver has in those Dr. Dre Beat's type of headphones (which means it's covering both his ears), his ELD (which is normal), his phone on a mount (which again is common/normal) and A BIG ### IPAD TYPE OF THING PLAYING SOME TYPE OF MOVIE OR TV SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!! The IPAD type device was mounted on the drivers side of his cab. The inside of his cab was glowing from the all the devices going and probably why it caught my eye, even with the rain coming down like it was.

Foggy, rainy, in the mountains, night time and he had the headphones covering both ears and the IPAD going.

So if a cop happened to pass by him - I know the headphones would be illegal covering both ears like that. Surely his IPAD device mounted on the drivers side of his truck would be illegal too, right?

Never seen an IPAD mounted on the drivers side like that before or the headphones that cover both ears while driving.

 

Lol, that’s funny. You did good on the windshield, didn’t let it ruin your day. Barely a delay. I bet you took your 30 min break while they did the job!! Nothing lost. And the OM said.... Lol
