Call the Interstate Trucker, LegalShield or one of the other outfits that gets a local lawyer to show up in court for you and deal with it.

The only reason I get most jobs is because my CDL is squeaky clean. There is nothing on it so I don't have to do any explaining on job interviews.

    Friend had that exact experience.
Cop kept the Franklin and wrote him up.
Being a good friend, I occasionally bring that story up...:D

The LEO does not determine if you get points or not, the court does. If it is written as a moving violation then you should follow up with an attorney and get advice on how to proceed.

22 over in a construction zone? Is that what I read?

You apparently don't go for quantity, but you definitely aim for quality.

24mph over, in a construction zone non the less. Alot of states double fine in construction zone.
There is a paper trail with exact detail even if cop didn't throw the book at you. As the members have said, get legal advice. If the 24mph over goes on your record, that is a major violation. It will be money well spent if your lawyer can get violation reduced.
Ps, I don't care what you were driving, what the bell were you doing, going 24 over??? Cop should have thrown you in jail for driving to endanger, reckless driving etc.
