Are you delivering to cities that have riots?

When the police observe the suspect coming at them with a weapon and refusing repeated commands to drop the weapon, race does not matter. Game over!
Race baiters see it as an opportunity to get something.

 

Unfortunately the convo is gone sideways along predictable lines. My original question was, it's a redo of behaviors that is not accomplishing the desired outcome. There are other ways of policing and there are example out there. So why are we playing groundhog movie again?
Aren't we smarter than that?

 

Allot of police officers are realizing that your not worth it anymore. You want to reinvent the job go ahead. Then find someone to do it. If you don’t want to get shot don’t threaten somebody with a knife. Police or not. Guns win the knife fight almost all the time.

 

You know what they're doing in those places, not enforcing the law. Of course "the convo is going sideways along predictable lines," what'd you expect, people to suddenly think criminals should treated like VIPs?

 

I explore issues globally, philosophically, morally and pragmatically. I was hoping some of this conversation might hit on an aspect beyond trope media b.s.
But since the corpse has been designated a criminal, and we're apparently too stupid or entrenched to try solution thinking, sure, let's stick with what's not working and pat ourselves on the back for how obviously right we are.

My reference was nations beyond the border. There is a whole world out there. With laws. And criminals. And cops.
They just have different ideas. Lots of different ideas, cuz there's lot of countries. intelligence causes people to explore beyond the same old, its called learning.

 

The"corpse" approached armed police w a knife.
He was ordered to drop the weapon, and was given the opportunity to continue to live. Pretty simple really.
He refused and advanced on police.
Officers ended the threat the way they are ALL trained to do.

 

Threatening people with a knife IS a crime. What would YOU do if someone approached you with a knife in their hand, try to hug them?

 

I'd tell you why that is but you'd really cry about that.

 

Hmm. I drove through Philly twice in the last week. Saw absolutely zero sign of civil unrest.
