Yes he passed away last winter, I think there's a link to his obituary in this thread. I never met him, but chatted with him online and thought he was a great guy.

 

That's a shame. He did seem like a good person to know. I'm sorry for everyone's loss.

 

Anyone ever link their Comdata card to PayPal to send money?

 

I have not linked it to PayPal but have to my checking account. I did it so I can transfer the bonuses that load on the comdata card. Have been doing it that way for awhile and that aspect works without issue.

 

Just trying to send some friends of mine some cash, their house burned down, thought the easiest way would be to send them my safety bonus.

 

That is very generous of you. Like I said, can't speak to how the PayPal link works. I guess give it a try and see how it goes.

 

Did a test earlier with a friend of mine. They requested $1. I Was able to send it and they received it. So guess it works. As for sending of money really doing it for their kids. The lost all their toys, and those getting replaced obviously isn’t a high priority for them right now.
