I'm sorry you have to wait for surgery in Canada, but since you would have to report your health problem to an insurance company that does not accept current health problems on your policy, it means you would have to pay out of your pocket. That means hundreds of thousands of dollars out of your pocket. My colleague from Chicago, who lost his job and had no insurance, paid for 10 minutes he was not even in bed, but in the corridor for a drip of 5,000 US

Yeah socialized Medicare sounds wonderful to Americans who have never lived here and dont understand how much taxes we pay and that a lot of things aren't "free"

 

Had a kidney stone last week. It was wonderful. Wife drove me to ER got a shot of Morphine. Did a scan and was home in 3 hrs. All for only $7k. Only in Merica.

 

Had my surgery on September 17th, just got back from a follow up in the city. Here's a few x-rays of the shim they installed in place of my herniated disc between C5 and C6, Pretty sure we could have done it in the shop. Couple screws and a plastic spacer.

 

If the USA is such a Hell Hole, go ahead and find some other place to live that has as much to offer.......Granddaughter gave me a tee shirt......"If this Flag offends you, I'll help you pack!"......just let me know where to bring the boxes to pack you.
