the absolute lowest, in some cases. looking at you Ingles... and never again US Foods Pittston
but also single pallets brought to the back of the trailer and hand unloaded in the middle of the street sometimes!! that's my favorite. unless its frozen cookies sliding out the back on a hill in Pittsburgh that feels like it belongs in San Francisco...
lots of imported stuff, halal, organic lamb...

    Not better really, just different.

Males have done a lot of great things in history with science, medicine, exploration, technology, etc etc. The list goes on, and continues even in recent history as gender rights equalizing.

If you look at history and study some of those people, many or most were very egotistical, out to prove something, aggressive, even reckless at times, obsessive, etc.

Those were early explorers, many scientists, mathematicians, even artists like Michelangelo.

So it has its place in humanity. But driving a big rig? Lol. Maybe not. Maybe guys can benefit from chilling out a little bit.

Thanks so much, BackwoodsGA!! Much appreciated.

I've been studying my CDL manual and taking the practice tests and also downloaded the CDL prep app that I saw mentioned on one of the threads. Want to be prepared for the permit test.

Different...that's a good way of putting it, TravR1. You made some good points about aggression being useful. Sometimes you need that to accomplish something that has never been done. Can't be timid when setting out an expedition. Those men were brave!

aggression, assertiveness, indomitable spirit, intestinal fortitude...all useful at times, and none exclusively male.
Amelia Earheart was adventurous, Marie Curie was a serious badazz (radioactive matter), Jeanne Bare had to sail around the world dressed like a man but still...in 1760 something that's also baddazz, Sally Ride (shuttle Challenger), Joan of Arc... 95% of all the women pioneers of the American west...100% of the women who came to this continent in the 1600 and 1700s... explaining anything besides childbirth on gender is a cop out...
driving might not be for you. but it also 'not for' about 95% of the guys that give it a try...

Well put, Qbf594. Don't mean to discredit women at all. They've proven over and over how tough and capable they are.

Find some videos on pre trip, maybe one specific to your state.
