So that board being paid off or almost, and then low mileage then no need for you to get a replacement for now, which is good. Right now you can't buy brand new trucks off the lot in this region any more. Neither trailers. It is like 2018 again... you give them earnest money and sign up on a waiting list.

When you're a grandpappy with grandkids to adore you, you can't argue that.

More than one way to skin a cat, I should mention I'm not fond of cats either.

I imagine when you're in your 60s you're to old to keep doing things as 10-20 years earlier but there is even more enjoyable things to do before you get completely too old. Just as long as the health is there.
I am kinda looking forward to be in the 60s...retired and fishing on an open sea.:D

I've already had some of the bigger manufacturer recommended maintenance interval items done this summer as well.

Don't get me wrong, we have a cat named Tommy. He's a stuck up A-HOLE, we keep him around because he does a good with rodent control on our country property.

I noticed at today’s Trump rally in Allentown that many people were holding up Truckers for Trump signs. :)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... always seem to be good rates when a big storm comes rolling in. However, I'm going to have to deduct a few hundred for the windshield that got cracked because people can't wait to get back over after passing. Still puts me at $3.00 a mile from Cheyenne to Little Rock even accounting for that.

Dang, haven't checked in since last Saturday, it's pretty slow around here. I guess the thread has run it's course.

Everything is running smoothly on my side. First week of November already booked. $4,200 on 1,342 miles, home every day, home by noonish every other day. Not earth shattering, but right where I like it!

    Happy Halloween!

Not many people posting on the forum lately. Guess everyone is either broke or busier then ever.

Good job Scooter finding something that works for you. Still think you should be working harder while the rates are high though. :D

    Happy Halloween!

PPLC and Scooter Jones Thank this.
