    @HiramKingWilliams Don’t worry, it gets better.

    Wait until the day you bid on a route that happens to be a dead end route, with most of the pickups at the end, and they send you to the end first for whatever stupid reason.

    The worst day I ever had was the day I went out with 19 stops an hour late, routed backwards like that, and of course somebody at the far end called with a big pickup.

    10 of those deliveries went back.

    Don't forget the "important" customer that was just added to your day, because YOU had the room for their 7 skids of furniture.
    Despite them being on the other side of town from your "first" stop.

    OR, the single 1800# pallet that was added to you. Because its across the street from one that's on your list, but isn't even open on Fridays. But take it anyway. Because they MIGHT be open.
    Thankfully they're one that I have a phone number for one of their guys that I know. He came over to unload.
