If Vehicle sales are strong then I agree dealerships will push more finance than cash.
But I go back to what started the cash isn’t king discussion and it was stated due to COVID and how bad people are hurting with no jobs.
I am not buying into it. Vehicle sales are strong, personal debt is going down, credit card balances are going down. We are paying people too much money to sit on their arse!

I think this may be apples to oranges comparison but I could be wrong.
Ridgline was using personal vehicles as an example while I THINK you are using commercial vehicles as an example.
Personal vehicles would not have any depreciation value to be taken into consideration.

If you own it and it depreciates it is a loss. A commercial vehicle makes money and can be depreciated on your taxes. Put the other beer down.

    That’s what I said.
Ridgline was using a personal vehicle in his post and you tried to compare that to a truck.
    Apples to oranges comparison.
I won’t insult you because you are entitled to your opinion but I will tell you that I do not appreciate your beer comments and leave it at that.

I understood completely what he said. I can read. For the second time you have misunderstood. No matter how cheap he buys his personal cars, it will never outrun the depreciation. Depreciation is LOSING money. What part of that don't you comprehend? OTOH, if he buys commerical trucks, they too will depreciate, but not only do they make him money, they can be legally depreciated off his taxes. What part of this don't you follow? I am accusing you of drinking beer becasuse you can't seem to comprehend this simple concept.

Pothead......you can’t depreciate a personal vehicle. If you paid taxes you would know this.

SOT. I never said he could depreciate it, I said it depreciates. Go back to high school and learn reading comprehension. I said he could depreciate his COMMERCIAL vehicle. Geez you are thick.

So when you are proven wrong you resort to attempted insults about trucks. What a piece of work you are. Volvo is the greatest truck on the road as far as I am concerned. And you should stop assuming. Just because my avatar has a pic of a Volvo doesn't mean I am driving one at present. Last truck I was in was a 2019 Kenworth. Nice ride. And a bit of advice.....when you are digging yourself into a deep hole....best to stop digging.

    Dockbumper Thanks this.
