Depends on how much room you have in each truck, and what your going to be most comfortable in, I would think the 387 would have more room, but then the t600 might sit a bit lower to the ground and not be as top heavy. Its all in what you want really and what makes you more comfortable.

Take it from someone that RAN TEAM and TRAINED. Get the 387 YOU WANT THE MOST ROOM YOU CAN GET. Hell if you can find one get a Volvo 780 even more room. Or if you could find one a Freightliner Classic XL with the 84 inch sleeper. Any amount of space you can get in the sleeper you will love.

387 is larger but if you look dealers having problem re selling them due to their problems with doors and plastic parts etc.Kenworth is much better built truck in that model.I went thru same desicion I bought a peterbilt 379. good luck to you

The 387 by far has more room, however they are basically a "throw away" truck. The t600 is a much better quality truck IMO. As Turker mentioned the 387 has alot of problems because they are so cheaply made plastic. The t600 would not be a great team truck because of the room but I would still get it over a 387 anyday. I guess it just depends on how "close" you are and how well you and your brother get along. There are defintitely better "roomy" trucks than a 387 that I'm sure you could find in the same price range. A Volvo 780 is very roomy and overall not a bad truck either.

Keep in mind the Volvo service network is very small compared to the others though.

387 is top quality Aero truck and cab will last forever. If you buy it new that is, its not a O/O choice so all you will find will mostly be abused, monkey-driven "company trucks". Other than that there is no big concern, since its pretty much 379 under the cab. Since few years also cab electronics is similiar too I think. Didn't drive T600 though, so can't tell the difference. All in all - after half a milion miles in it I love it

You can find a 600 with studio. Lots of OO getting out and some good deals to be had. I know there are a lot of 2000 KWs around for sale. Depends on who you listen to . Some swear by em' and the rest swear at em'.
