your lungs are air bags like on the chassis, if you drove with the air bags deflated things would start grinding themselves to pieces. same thing happens to driver. keep air bags inflated all the way

Seat quality most important next is regular stretching exercises. That is all the non medical advice I have.

As stated doing stretches is a good idea.If you drive long haul then possibly switching to local might be something to think about so you aren't sitting in one position for long periods of time although I get that is easier said then done.Good luck to you.

Visit a chiropractor once in a while. It only costs $30-$200 per visit. Back crack, back adjustment, ect...or go to Mexico and find a doc who will prescribe you testosterone or HGH. HGH is the peterbilt of the juices, if you ain’t got a single hair follicle on your head, you’ll be a werewolf in 3 months.

There’s no shame on it and don’t let these cheap Blue cross Doctors tell ya this isn’t the job for you. Don’t get the point where you have to put metal screws on your back.

Try not to let air ride seat bottom out on bad roads, the pounding on your back will get to your back over years of driving?

Weak back muscles is cause of most back pain related to trucking. ,,, but takes exercise to remedy so most just live in pain

IMO most truck drivers will have back problems unless they quit first. Your back muscles get less exercise and become weaker. Bad posture will accelerate the onset of back pain. There are exercises to work and strengthen those muscles. The exercise is like the opposite of sit-ups or crunches. Search on YouTube for back exercises & too much sitting.

Not just back muscles. Core muscles. Don’t need to do a lot. Just stretch and strengthen your core.
