    How do most company's verify your experience, is it just through dac or do they call the company's you have listed in prior work history?

    Both. Although some companies don't use DAC and therefore don't report to them. Most major companies do use it though. Unless you worked for a real small outfit it's most likely on there.

    I am in Orientation now for a new company.
    They called my last employer, since that company does not use DAC
    My company before that does use it, so they got from them.
    Called the one before that.
    That got me back over 3 years.
    The company's from 3-10 years back they did not check. But you have to have all time frames covered for 10 years to follow DOT rules.
    One of the other guys here is having a hard time with that.

    not worried about whats on my dac as I have never had a "real" trucking job, just a few runs for a friend to fill in here and there. and there lies my problem, no verifiable experience.
