Well I’m currently sitting at the Freightliner dealer in KCMO waiting to get my truck looked at. I was driving along and the dash lit up with the check engine light and the stop engine light, I pulled over and was dumping coolant, it didn’t appear to be any hoses. Maybe my radiator dumped the bed, hopefully that’s the extent of the problem. Now we wait!

 

So as I expected, my radiator needs to be replaced. Freightliner is in the process of moving into their new facility this week, so they are short mechanics. It will be tomorrow until the trucks ready.

I booked a room at the casino, I will lose a few bucks on the slot machines and have a nice dinner tonight. I always try and look at the positive side, I could have had this issue running across the middle of Oklahoma this morning at zero dark thirty, but luckily I was just on the outskirts of KCMO.
