So there's this dude here at Thermoking.
He's getting his new $265K truck worked on. I was forced to watch the video of his new truck. Yes video, with commentary.
Anyway he goes up the Grapevine at 60mph @ 100K pounds.
He halls all of Delta Force's stuff.
Makes between $12K and $20K weekly.InTooDeep, Dale thompson, D.Tibbitt and 5 others Thank this. -

I didn't sleep well last night. I've been tired all day. Started at 3am with a load up to the Bowling Green, OH general area.
I make the drop, it starts SNOWING, then abruptly stops.
Heading for pickup in Chicago, I'm fighting the steering wheel. The wind gusts are blowing my empty trailer all over the road.
I had to pull over twice to take a short nap. I was an hour late to my pickup, but we actually have a 2-hr window at this shipper that our dispatch doesn't tell us about.
Still tired, but at least I'm in the loading bay. I think I'm just gonna park and take ten in their staging yard.
Headed to Atlanta again. Someone is hogging the Albany, NY loads. Probably one of the new prima donnas they've hired.
"I'm not doing that load again.....Eff that! You keep me running, I want the long loads, or I'm gonna quit......"
My travel agent says he's spreading the long ones around, but.......I can read a schedule sheet, and I don't like what I'm seeing.
Anyway, that's all from an old, tired, grouchy #### today. At least there's no garbage water dripping down my neck, and NWS radio says tomorrow will be warmer and NOT AS BREEZY!
@Cattleman84 congrats to you and the missus on your new "li'l wrangler"!InTooDeep, Dale thompson, MACK E-6 and 7 others Thank this.
