When I was working there I always routed around them. Except in the winter. USA would pay the tolls then.
You would have to call and ask them. They have several regional runs out of Ohio and Arkansas that would get you home most weekends. It just depends on where you live.

Falcon has added some ultra shifts. They are sweet in town. They are a PITA for tight manuevers. They don't engage until 825 RPM.
What part of PA jughead? I finished up at Transport Tech of Butler in Mid-October.
I elected to go with Falcon because they are close to home. I guess I wanted the familiarity of home as I break myself into the trucking bizz.
Good luck and which TT did you go to? -
dude, I went to transport tech too, cool

I route around Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, and Florida toll roads. They won't pay the $18.50 toll from Route 2 to the Indiana state line for the Ohio turnpike, so they buy an extra $50 in diesel. It doesn't seem to make sense to me, but those decisions are made above my pay grade

All i know about this company is what i heard from a driver i met in orentation at us xpress, he said that they failed their safety inspection so badly that DOT revoked their hazmat privliages now weather thats true or not i dont know
-
How long ago was that?
-
I pull hazmat for USA Truck every now and then. I'm at the West Memphis terminal now, and there's quite a few placarded trailers here.
-
December 2005 is when that driver told me that, i guess it looks like he was wrong
-
Yeah I think he was. I left in jan 06 and was hauling hazmat up until the end.
