I got it the first time.
I just can't understand why anyone would take a 34 an hour and a half from their house.

It's a big ol full moon, boys. Its gonna get weirder before it gets better

    Pretty much.

99 times out of 100, you could make up a plausible bs story to cover that PC.

100th time a busload of handicapped nuns and orphans runs a stop sign and T-bones your truck.

Your luck meter done plumb run out, ex-driver.

I live deep in the woods. To go home and come out is a 160 mile no interstate turn. I'm not driving 160 miles for one day at home. Just spent a week and a half there. The only one who would be happy to see me back so soon would be the dog anyhow. Has me thinking, gonna take the dog with me.next time and really f them up.

    You do you.

But it my world, the coin comes up "busload of nuns and orphans" probably 80% of the time, and I don't like those odds.

I gotta play "safe" more often than "the other guy".

Back in the 70s we had a Dodge Coronet station wagon. Used it to go camping because it had room for all the stuff and the dogs. Biggest pos I have ever owned. Had a pissy 318 that wouldn't get out of it's own way. Got rid of it and got a '68 Malibu. Had a blown engine and I found a 365hp 327 out of a wrecked Vette I put in it. Had a hard time keeping tires on that one.

I've done more than a few 10's in Tonapah or Eloy ( 1 hour from the house ) and I'm only 14 miles off 10. Three miles off the 101.

I don't fear the bus load of nuns as much as the random inspection.

Now I'm stuck with a full on driving violation with a week cause I moved my truck and forgot to put it on pc.
