Somebody's New Truck Awaits....

I drove for Barr Nunn twice and dealt with their mid roof columbias....got a brand new one the first time around. They are specced fairly basic but they take pretty good care of their trucks over there at Barr Nunn. The second time i worked there i got one with a few hundred thousand on the odometer and it had been cleaned back up to where it looked like a new truck inside and under the hood. As far as fleet trucks go,ex barr nunn trucks are pretty good as long as you are not looking for a completely specced out interior.

 

Doing a total drive by post. We are here in Council Bluffs. Took longer than anticipated.... we hit a few slow downs due to trying to bind insurance on the fly. We lost an hour and a half in Wichita Falls TX waiting on the bank to wire transfer the down payment.... yada, yada, yada. Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know we made iy..... we're gonna hit the bed and pass out now. Will let you know more tomorrow.

just be careful of those werner trucks. I've seen enough SCARRY repairs come out of their shop to be VERY leary of them

 

Werner i'm pretty sure. they have those 9 speed converted to 13 speed trannies in them. same with the 387's they have.

did he sell his setup? I talked to him about the trailer. just couldn't swing the money on an older unit that needed rubber

 

i'm not sure where those came from. I know the black ones came from Ashley furniture if they are the same ones they had. SUPER nice trucks but they have the volvo motors

 

Not certain, but I would assume those Volvos came from Celadon. They do alot of business with them and had a large slew of white 670's that came from Celadon awhile back.

 

ya I was thinking that too because they have the blue interior like my shaker has.
