Hey kits and kats, Hope everyone is keeping em' turning and earning.
Im a bit worried. I heard from my recruiter thursday and he said everything was looking good for school (nov. 2 atl.) and ask any specific questions I may have. Soooo. I write back with some questions and nothing?? Now its tuesday and still ??? Dont know what the deal is now. He never was the most enthusiastic but if i'm outta the running I would like to know.
hoping for the best and looking for other avenues now. Any suggestions??

It depends on the power requirement of the devices. Look for a label on them to see. Some might have the wattage. some will just have the volts and amps. If it just shows the amps take that number and multiply by the volts to get the power in watts. A 1200 watt inverter will power about 10 amps.

You might be better off getting a small (about 100 watt) inverter for the laptop.

I'm just speaking from personal experience but I have a T2000 company truck and the last guy that had it was a L/O he took the passenger side shelving out and I fit a 3.6 cubic ft fridge in it, not sure about other trucks in the fleet but that takes care of the T2

Anybody have a answer yet for my question?

All that worry for nothing. My recruiter finally decided to answer the phone today and says we're still all set for the 2nd. Didnt know that there is a $100 fee for registration? guess that pays for the whizz quizz and such. Another $60 for permit fee. And then food costs. Any other fee's I should plan on?

Well I am finally back in the Truck with JJ!!

Waiting at the J in Twin Falls ID for our Pick-up tomorrow:biggrin_2552: JJ let his FM know he would be available for Dispatch today and the best she could do was a load in the PM tomorrow:biggrin_25512: I can see an FM change coming real soon if she can't do better then that!

Congrats Jess and glad to know your finally where you want to be!!!!

Things this week have taken a real downturn for me and am very unhappy. Got my PM done in Rockwall on Sat. and didn't get a load out of there till Monday night. It was a 2 dropper. Drop in Ok then they t called me to the yard in Olathe, where they had my load waiting to go home with. Doesn't deliever till tomorrow night tho. This is going to be a crummy paycheck with less than a 1000 miles on it. They better get their act together when I come back out or I may be going along with JJ and seeing if I can go back on active duty. Oh wait- - to old for that.
