I had no idea x1heavy had passed away. I always had wanted to tell him about the Midway truck stop he thought didn't exist anymore in Pennsylvania. It indeed still exists, and is just as good. Not the famous one off the interstate, but the one in the north central part off a small state highway.Blue jeans, Rideandrepair, Sirscrapntruckalot and 6 others Thank this.

No way, X1 is gone? Man. Gonna miss him.
Had a few scats with him, and got a kick out of his far fetched stories, but that didn't make him a bad human being. He had a good soul.
I'd like to think he's telling stories at the lunch counter somewhere else and making our "creator" behind the counter roll his eyes.Rideandrepair, Sirscrapntruckalot, hotrod1653 and 7 others Thank this. -
Lol op kind of sounds like somsone who’s been shoved in a locker a few times through school.
us who drive nice trucks with custom #### like properly fitted fenders. Air ride etc. go up to other trucks check out the detail in the work and just make a friend.
People come up to me all the time asking or just wanting to see. And talk. What am I to do? Chase them away with a crescent wrench? you’re at a flipping truck stop dudeRideandrepair, Sirscrapntruckalot, lynchy and 9 others Thank this. -
I'm from Texas. Cowboy attire is standard. Cattle haulers smell like money. The sound of spurs striding into the DQ makes my heart skip a beat. ❤

No matter the dress code or style you can always tell the wanna be's from the real deal. Whether its cowboy or wise guy the impersonator stands out. I have good friends on almost all sides of the dress code....except the slob side.
Me I wear a ball cap that some farm or truckin company gave me. Usually a little crooked. T shirt with a button down over it and rarely are my wranglers pulled over my boot tops. I don't have good clothes and work clothes only work clothes. No 100 dollar muck boots for loading, only my older Justin's after purchasing a new pair. I agree you can tell alot by how a mans dressed....right down to how far he can be pushed. Reading a man by the clothes he wears is good thinkin, judging him by them....Rideandrepair, TripleSix, exhausted379 and 11 others Thank this. -
