High beams were not on. And they're not that bright anyway since they are Freightliner factory standard.

The poor bird. And I'm not eating the thing, either. Plucking all those feathers.

Yes have the same issue with Kangaroo's they seem to like running towards a vehicle rather than away from it, ever wonder what it sounds like when you connect with an 80 kg Kangaroo at 100 km per hour?

I hit one of those stupid things last year at about 3am in BFE oregon. Centered it up right in the grill. Feathers everywhere look like i ran over a bunch of chickens with the white feathers everywhere

Free chicken nuggets!! That bird is probably good for a 10 piece!!lol

Owl probably thought your Freightliner looked like a mouse while it was diving in for the kill, only to realize at the last second it was going to bite off more than it could chew!!
    “OH SH...THUNK!!!”

Don’t feel too bad about it, A few weeks before I turned it my previous truck at Marten headquarters at some point I killed a bat-it got wedged in the grille grating behind the housing!!!
(friend of yours @Frank Speak, maybe old college roommate-lol)

That poor owl probably weighed less a pound. Not many nuggets you get out of that.

In other unexciting news, my lovely waitress at the Boise Stage Stop folded my dinner check into an origami frog.
    That's never happened before.
