Shady People and Double Brokering

WTI was the king of double brokering.And couldn't figure out why their turnover rate was at 85%

So what are you brokers seeing as immediate trends on rate and volume with all this flu chaos? How many shippers are increasing vs decreasing output?

 

Still early on yet. Haven't seen much in the way of trends, as it were, but I'll update you guys as I see it develop.

Carrier 411 is cool and all, but for those monkey brokers who solely rely on that or the ones who pass on you Since you have 1 Freightgaurd are flat out stupid. Half of them don’t bother to read it.

 

I can assure you most brokers will use you with 1 FG report unless its something serious and you do not reply to it on carrier 411. Trust me we ignore all the stupid FG reports from the usual suspects who try to nail carriers for little things like being 5 mins late for a drop.

 

All State and TriStar transit were recently kicked off DAT. They are now using Massive 3pl MC# 093757 - listed out of TX but the same old clowns. Here is an example of a FG report we take seriously and the reason Carrier 411 exists - FG Report for Wolf Pack Express MC# 1091594
THESE GUYS CALLED IN ON 2 CA OUTBOUND LOADS. SHIPPER CALLED US ADVISING THAT WHEN THE DRIVERS CHECKED IN THEY GAVE THE NAME OF A DIFFERENT BROKER AND SENT US THE DRIVER'S RATE CONFIRMATIONS FROM "MASSIVE 3PL". CARRIERS WERE COMPLETELY IN THE DARK. WE ENDED UP SETTING BOTH CARRIERS UP AND RUNNING THE LOADS WITH THEM DIRECTLY. LATER IN THE DAY, WOLF PACK EMAILED US SAYING "PRODUCT WASN'T READY AT THE SHIPPER AND THEY REQUESTED TO LOAD ON FRIDAY." PERMANENT DNU

 

Wow, Howd you they got kicked off DAT? I was never able to Book with them because of factoring but I did do a load with Massive 3PL this year and didn’t have an issue.

 

I just ran TriStar and All State MC on DAT Directory and get no results. IDK how or why they were removed from the platform, Landstar does the same thing and they are still on DAT but they actually have assets which probably plays a part.

I guarantee that load you did with Massive was double brokered and if you had called the actual broker who had the load , you would have had a few more Ben Franklins coming your way. Because it is always one of 3 things with them - you got paid less and they made $200 to $1000 off of middle manning you, you think youre getting paid more, but then never get paid at all, or they hose you and cut your rate in half on some bull #### excuse.
