Expunge accident from CA DMV record

    I have an accident on my record dated 12/7/98
    I thought it was ten year record. can this be removed?
    Will employers count it?

    Most companies go back any where from 3-7yrs. If they don't ask you do not tell.. I'm not sure it can actually be removed or if it is automatically..

    It wasn't DUI, however, it was my fault.
    I want to start school soon and would like to start with as
    clean a record as possible.

    I would try to speak to an attorney to see if he can get it taken off. Good Luck starting school. I am waiting to start school also.
