only 6 months experience using keep trucking. From Florida.
I've been called nonstop from a craigslist ad, whichi posted explaining my situation.
Can't believe no one would hire me. i've been rejected a few times by the big companies, but several companies still reached out to me wanting to give me a chance. i'd have to move to whereever they're located sure, but i don't have the responsibilities of a family man.
Yeah chinaman gave me some advice in 2016, i went driving with a few owner operators that ended up never paying me. I gained experience and knowledge of the trucking industry had i never gone with them, but, i'm past that and now looking for an actual company that pays. So far i have 1 job offer, i'm waiting on 2 other companies to get back to me and if they decide not to take me i'll gladly go to colorado and drive dry van for 1300 a week to start. I need some more verifiable experience to ask for more money or someone else would hire me to do the same job for better pay -shrugs- who knows. I'm keeping my mind and wallet open to the best oppurtunities i qualify for (which isn't much) But, keep in mind there aren't a huge pool of drivers to choose from. Otherwise i wouldn't have gotten 60 calls today alone.
Any advice for me would be greatly appreciated.

Felony is from late 2018 in one of the worst counties in Florida to get stopped by cops. In any other county they would've given me a warning, ticket, or told to stop smoking and keep driving. it's fairly recent, but i completed drug court.

jtech institute was where i went for school. pretty decent.
They taught me using stick, i was told most schools now a days teach using autos only. that kinda sucks. -
Being in Florida, you gotta take what you can, and stick with it for a period of time. There are companies that hire from there, but they require experience. Did you try Windy Hill? They may be the loan exception
