First the screen shot is FMCSA website. Second who said I ran like that. You are making assumptions. But I am well aware what I can and can not do.

Looks like that's how you operate as per your own words. ...
Still haven't shown where the 70 (and for that mater 11) is exempted though.

one "local" job i had as line-haul, i put in many hours, some of which i could not log (on paper)...did i give a rats butt..??

HELL NO, i was home in the mornings.

eventually, i landed a real sweet "local" job, where i put on all of maybe 300 miles round trip, and got home each morning after like about 8-9 hours of working.

would i ever have gone back to long haul (as it was known back then)..??

HELL NO..the long hours being closer to home was more important that the hours spent a MILLION MILES away from home.

Being informed in the scope of my operation is far from a confessional to what I do or don't do daily.

Your confusing exemption with exception. The short haul ruling is a exception. You are obligated to have logs following standard 7 days prior to first use of short haul, or intermittently changed.

Being its a exception. You are required to have a 10 hour off duty period before restarting work at your domiciled terminal to which you report to and from regularly.

I'll keep digging when I'm actual done for the day. But since you wanna quote me like a little girl twisting my words.

Go back and re read. I asked you to show me were. You have failed to show anything but your interpretation of said rule.

Now since your trying to be a hardass. What company do you own and operate? Who signs your checks?

So you can't point to the regs, can't admit you are wrong even though I pointed to the regs showing that HOS is still in effect. Since you refuse to actually read the regs I pointed to, and claim I didn't show the regs, when I clearly did there is no point trying to educate you. You simply refuse to learn.

But since I posted the regs, at least other people that actually want to run legal know what the regs state.

Do you understand exception. Then look at 12 hour exception. Follow 12 hour exception.

Do I need a dry erase board to explain it?

not every local job is long hours. i compare trucking jobs to buying a new a car. simply do research and you won't be sorry.

with that being said i totally lucked into my awesome local job.

Do you not understand it's 100% for logging only. It has nothing to do with HOS.
Do I need to get out crayons to explain it better?
Now once more, can you show where the HOS is part of the exception?

The cool thing about running local, at least in Arkansas, I have never once been asked about the hours I run or anything to do with HOS. That comes in very handy since I own my own truck and have spent up to 26 hours at one time in the drivers seat. Sometimes when it’s your own business you have to hit it when there’s something to do.
