My my what a productive day ....got to my truck this morning and after putting everything in it and backing my pickup into the garage I realize I have my keys and my GIRLFRIENDS keys , drive back home to return them....get a speech from gf .
Drive back to garage put pick up inside and bobtail to yard to get outbound trailer , pretrip reveals a trailer lite issue ...call in the on-call trailer tech and issue taken care of.
Smooth sailing now right? Wrong! 80 and 35 in and near des moines was slick and shiney but soon ran out of it and it dried up ...good to go now ? Wrong ! Made it 200 miles into Iowa and snowing steady , slick as snot , idiots running 70 on snow pack ...gave up at the 201 and called it a day .

 

I really wanted to get into Illinois but the way the idiots were driving its an accident waiting to happen .

 

Oh and by the way I chatted with the Morehouse shop manager last week and 2 of the company trucks have hit the 50k drain interval ( none are tuned up for the record) on the synthetic 10w30 oil and both came back with clean oil samples.
I'm at 47k now and will push on to 60k and will drain and sample .
Hasn't used a drop .
