Lets not forget that the speed limiter laws are pushed through by bunch of corrupt individuals and organizations, pretending to speak on the truckers behalf, while collecting kickbacks from the big trucking companies, who are trying to "level" the playing field with the small guy by using weasel words like "public safety" to achieve their goal....

I wonder how much are some of the big BC trucking companies paying Mr Landry to speak on their behalf...?

"...the posting says truckers will save money and fuel"

    Erm, no!
The ordinary trucker (company driver) just has to drive longer to get the same pay...or LOSE money.

I sincerely doubt they'll get past out here for one our speed limits are higher, and for another I really don't think it will go over very well...Alberta has already said they won't consider it at all as they have stated that they already know that split speed limits are more dangerous.

But then who knows what the wack jobs in Victoria will do...

I can't see Saskatchewan doing it either, they are of the same mind as Alberta on this, and, as usual Manitoba will sit on the fence.
