When ya use plastic are they gonna let ya bag the whole trailer or just cover the floor? Man you make me miss dump trucking more an more everyday. Not being sarcastic either.

Had sand freeze like that once. Our cement plant had us warm our trailers in the shop for a couple hours an then go back an dump it in the bin. Worked out good.

That looks utterly miserable, I stretched my legs a bit and brought some kind of ore up to new Johnsonville TN this morning, super heavy stuff, 2 buckets and I was loaded. Unfortunately it had moisture in it and stuck to the floor, but nothing like that mess you’re dealing with @motocross25 hope the plastic works out.

Yes sir we bagged the whole thing. We have pallets of plastic rolls in the shop. 100 ft a roll and me and another guy split the roll. Started at doghouse and rolled it back. Popped the bows on one side and put the plastic over the pocket and pushed the bow thru. Did the other side and went to load. Right before we loaded we flipped some up and over the tailgate. It may have been overkill but I always say better to have than want. We shall see what happens tomorrow morning.

I’ve hauled some sort of ore too one time that stuck. Some sort of manganese I think it was. What are you getting for a backhaul. Speaking of Tennessee have you heard anything from @tndriver lately?

I bounced way down here to Fayette Alabama where I’ll load in the morning and head back to the house. No I haven’t heard from him, saw quite a few TAP trucks today, made me wonder if any were him.

    motocross25 Thanks this.

Yea he’s been a kinda quiet lately I hope everything is ok. Hopefully he’s just busy with his property. Do you guys have a lot of dedicated customers or does your dispatch come up with a lot of oddball stuff?

4mer trucker and 650cat425 Thank this.

You'll be golden then. We had hooks inside the dog house. Hooked plastic on them with slack layered over front cap then plugged bows thru it in all the bow pockets. Then put over end gate an kicked slack to bottom and hooked sides in last two pockets. Always worked like a charm.

I’d say we’re 99% dedicated customer base, it gets monotonous at times but I like the stability of it in the long run. That’s the first time I’ve ran that TN load, but we have done it quite a bit over the years.
