I used to be a Schneider IC. Thinking about going back to get a truck through them. If I wanted to take the truck elsewhere, say Landstar, is there a minimum time I have to stick with the choice program at Schneider before I jumped ship with the truck? Asking for a friend...

I don't think so at all; they're a truck leasing company, that's all. Also, I'm told you can be on monthly terms as well.RickyBobby314 Thanks this.

I ordered a piece of apple pie today. It was good, but it was peach. I refused to pay. Since it was the old bait and switcherooooo. I really wanted apple. Does that clear anything up for anyone?

Actually, no. But then I’m kinda slow. Can you be more clear? Thanks.

Schneider bad....... at least that’s what the original @rickybobby used to say
nikmirbre Thanks this. -
Until I just read your post, I was thinking that was him!

Yeah. That’s why I left. You can make a lot more at Landstar but I don’t have a Giant down payment nor is my credit perfect. Tried to buy a W9 (my dream truck) recently and was basically told to be on my way without $30K down and 750+ FICO. So I’m gonna have to figure out another way to get a truck and get to Landstar. The Schneider IC program doesn’t completely suck but the lease payments are high and the loads barely pay enough to make $1500 a week. You can’t get ahead in their system. But they do make it easy to get a truck through them. You just pay through the nose for that truck.
