What if it Snows?

Back in 1954, I 55 was paved; from State 16/Main St. at Canton into Jackson, meeting US 49 below the curve around the Highway Patrol Building. We left Canton, went out and got on I 55 and wheeled into the
intersection of it and US 51. Bounced and bumped thru Jackson like on the cobblestones of Morris Ave
in Birmingham. Since then; May of 1955, there has been constant additional construction thru Jackson
to tie it all up with 51,49, and I 20/80. I have been thru there fairly regularly until 2018.
I always wondered, if ever I would live so long as to see highway construction finished in Jackson.

 

Indiana E-W Toll Road was slick as an onion... When I came back west bound on the day it opened.
Stopped at the last service plaza coming in to Gary, and took a pic of my bull rack. Went east on US30,returned on the NEW ROAD... Happy times.

 

Well, gotta hit the rack......leaving the yard @ 0300.

No "Columbo" on MeTv for me tonight.....

Well the Bears best reciever punched some one and gets booted. Then the Bears get no first downs. The Saints wore out the Bears D after that. Da Bears. smh

 

I wish they were eating the Saints.

The last 2 days I have been on a "Small Town Tour, America"... Yesterday it was the "Cow Town" Edition, today was "Century Old Cemetery" Edition... Lol

Ran US20 all the way from central WY to about 40 miles outside Chicago.

 

Amen to that... I run US30 ALOT through IN!!! I have never been on the IN, OH or PA toll roads.... Ever!!
