Can you tell us the part numbers you used on both sides? $69 vs $400 sounds like a good deal to me. I've got a 2013 D13,

Yes but I can't right now. I'll do it this weekend when I'm back home.

The Gates replacement is a 38671.

Hey, I went back and looked at the original Dayco that came off the truck. No part numbers on it, or if there were they were covered with green paint at the factory. Gates replacement is a 38671.

On the right side I used Volvo parts a couple years ago but I won't shell out for them again.

I used gates tensioners, rollers and belts on mine old 05 vnl with d12( installed all at same time) and i didn't have any problems for 400k miles then i sold the truck. Volvo don't make all parts, they use vendors and box them in Volvo boxes and sell for double the price.
