Million dollar + load. $2000 of lumber on the nose. Million dollar beer canning machine on the rest. Nerve wracking as can be. Machine was bolted to a wood floor/pallet and I couldn't really look at it through the wrapping. Had enough sticking out each end to get a strap on, and then three straps over the top where I could see the previous trucking outfit strapped it before it went on the ship. Here's the best part, my insurance agent said I was covered for this through an umbrella policy I carried. I found out after he left the company that he was wrong. The umbrella only covered liability, not cargo. Good thing it was delivered unharmed.
